Project Description

Decommission and demolition of the existing pump house and all associated equipment at RAAF Base Woomera. Construction of a new pump house within the Woomera Village Tank Farm as the main water supply to the Woomera township, Woomera Test Facility (RAAF Base) and surrounding sheep stations. Works included associated mechanical piping, civil works, concrete foundation and metal cladding structure. The supply and installation of a new gantry crane was also required.

SCOPE OF WORKS
• Civil works including slab, pits and paths
• New main switchboard, water pumps, underground and aboveground pipework & valves, new room for chlorine dosing provisions and gantry crane
• Modification of above ground electrical supply to underground
• Internal fire detection, lighting, power, earthing, linings, coatings, air-conditioning, exhaust fans
